Crisis, Controversy and Change/La Crise, la Controverse et le Changement

The Fundamentals, CSAM’s day-long course of sequential presentations on screening, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of alcohol and substance use disorders will be offered following the main course on October 28.

This year’s theme, Crisis, Controversy and Change” speaks to the issues that will be we are currently facing and that will be explored at the conference. The conference will act as a venue for researchers, educators and clinicians from different disciplines to meet, present their research, exchange ideas and collaborate on future courses.

The CSAM Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented as well as awards recognizing the best posters. Additionally, this year CSAM will grant four bursaries to assist students whose abstracts are chosen for presentation within symposia.

The venue and broad array of scientific and social offerings will make this year’s scientific conference an outstanding event. We sincerely hope to see you there and have the opportunity to speak with you personally.
