CMA Physician Workforce Survey 2019.  Your input matters: The CMA is seeking your participation in an important study

Once again, the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) is asking all practising physicians in Canada to help plan for a future health care system that meets the needs of both patients and providers. Share your input by completing a short, seven-minute survey: www.cma.ca/workforce2019

CSAM has joined with other physician leaders in support of this important initiative. Knowing about your practice – from your thoughts on national licensure to your use of technology and hours you work – will help draw a more accurate picture of the medical profession at the national, provincial/territorial and regional levels as well as by speciality.

Prize draw and charitable donation

As a token of the CMA’s thanks, all practising physicians can enter a draw for one of five $1,000 cash prizes by completing the ballot at the end of the survey or by clicking here for more information and full contest rules. Additionally, for every 5,000 responses received, the CMA will make a donation of $1000 to Doctors Without Borders.

Privacy

The CMA strongly believes in privacy; your input will remain confidential as all results will be shared in aggregate format only. By completing the survey, you agree to participate in the study. Click here to learn more about the CMA’s privacy guidelines and policies.

Results

Once available, aggregated results will be posted on the CMA website and will be used by the CMA and other stakeholders, such as researchers and health human resource planners, to inform policy decisions and advocate for required changes to our health care system. Over 7,000 physicians responded to the 2017 CMA Physician Workforce Survey.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Tara S. Chauhan at tara.chauhan@cma.ca.

Thank you for your contribution to this important research.
