Due consideration will be given to applicants who identify as belonging to or working within an underrepresented group within the field. Higher consideration will be given to applicants who plan to contribute to the conference proceedings.
The deadline for submission of bursary applications is June 30, 2019. Late submissions will not be considered. Bursaries will not be issued to applicants who have previously received a bursary. A complete application must also include a letter of support from a teacher or supervisor that confirms you are in a program of study at a Canadian university or college and supports your attendance at the CSAM 2019 conference.
Please send the bursary form and letter of support by email to email@example.com. Bursary applicants who would like to submit an abstract for a poster can email firstname.lastname@example.org about the submission process.
Successful applicants commit to attending the entire conference, including the Fundamentals Course. A stipend of $1000 will also be issued to help defray travel and hotel costs. If a bursary recipient does not attend CSAM 2019 no funds will be awarded. Advance notice of non-attendance is requested so that the bursary may be issued to another student.
