Dr. Shawn H. Kelly, MD completed his medical degree at Queen’s University and his residency in Pediatrics at Western University. He went on to complete a fellowship in Adolescent Addiction Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, with a focus on the assessment and treatment of substance use and behavioral addictions in youth.
Dr. Kelly practices as a Pediatrician and Adolescent Addiction Medicine Specialist in Ottawa. He currently serves as Chair of the Policy Committee for the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine, with advocacy interests focused on adolescent-centered care and the emerging public health impacts of online gambling. His clinical interests include evidence-based addiction treatment, family-centered care, and early intervention for youth at risk.
