Saskatchewan Regional Director – Term: 2021 – 2025

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, Nicole practiced in various community pharmacy settings in Saskatchewan, with an eventual focus on providing opioid agonist therapy in Saskatoon and delivering pharmaceutical services to northern rural communities.

Currently, Nicole is the Pharmacist Manager of the Prescription Review Program and Opioid Agonist Therapy Program, educationally based programs administered by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Through this role, Nicole has been actively involved in co-developing educational programs such as OAT virtual mentorship and CPSS Project ECHO® Management of Chronic Pain and Substance Use Disorder. 

Nicole participated as a Subject Matter Expert and Medical Regulatory Authorities Advisory Committee member for CAMH’s Opioid Agonist Therapy: A Synthesis of Canadian Guidelines for Treating Opioid Use Disorder and is currently the Saskatchewan representative for the CRISM Naloxone Guideline Development Panel. Nicole also serves as a member of the Professional Practice Committee with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals which aims to provide direction related to the quality of pharmacy practice and service.
